I thought the quote of the month was so appropriate for this first issue. I don't know how many of you remember the perfume commercial with the lyrics, "I can bring home the bacon .da.da.da.da. Fry it up in a pan .da. da. da. da. and never let you forget your romance, 'cause I'm a woman . . ." I think that pretty much sums up the lives of women. We seem so pulled in so many directions. I want The Vegan Place to be a celebration of who we are and what we do, of course, with the extra added support of discussing issues that are important to vegans and vegetarians. I hope you enjoy my first issue. Look for the next issue the first week in July. I will post the exact date on my blog.
