In: General Chat, Recipes, What's for Dinner?

This weekend I made hummus. I absolutely love hummus, but got spoiled when living in Tucson, AZ. We got the worlds best hummus there at a restaurant called the Shish Kabob House. The owner’s are Lebanese and they make all of their food using traditional recipes. I have looked high and low for hummus to compare to the hummus I got there, but have not even come close. I realized that I would have to keep playing with the recipe and make it myself to get what I wanted. This weekend I came the closest I have ever tasted, other than the “real” thing. It was absolute heaven. Here is the recipe:
Hummus
1 can garbanzo beans
1/2 of an 11oz can of tahini
3 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Arabic 7 spice
Cut garlic up finely and using a cutting board and the edge of your knife or a mortor and pestel mash garlic into a paste with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Then place garbanzo beans and halt the olive oil in a blender and begin blending. You may have to use a spoon to mix it to get it to blend right. Then add tahini, remaining oil, salt and Arabic 7 spice. Mix in the blender until very smooth. Serve with fresh cut up vegetables, pita bread, crackers, whatever you like. I put my over grilled vegetables and salad. It was absolutely delicious.
Lately I have been uninspired at lunch time and I didn’t have any good leftovers this weekend so I have been throwing together quick lunches, that have been extremely tastey and nutritious. I cut up some celery and carrots and place them on a plate with tortilla and chips. I serve them with two dips, one is just plain old peanut butter, the second is a mixture of tofutti cream cheese, canned jalapeno peppers and fresh salsa. I serve this with salads, voila, quick and easy lunch.

Try going to the following website: http://www.sadaf.com/store/product49.html. I initially got the spice in Phoenix, but it is a pretty standard mix of Arabic spices. It truly brings Middle Eastern food to life.

When you’re in the corner and have got no cash to get out from that, you would have to take the business loans. Because it should aid you emphatically. I take commercial loan every time I need and feel myself fine just because of that.

If you are willing to buy a house, you will have to receive the loans. Moreover, my mother usually takes a college loan, which supposes to be really firm.
