I have finally posted The Vegan Place Ezine and Eating Vegan Recipe book. Both of which are free. I am excited about these projects. Both are a work in progress so let me know how you like them. The Vegan Place Ezine is designed for vegan and vegetarian women. It provides helpful resources, articles, vegan fashion, health related topics and more. If you have an idea for an article or a new section that you would like to see added please let me know. Next month I am hoping to add a section on beauty and will be adding some poles this month so check back.
The cookbook includes many of my favorite recipes, some have been adapted from nonvegan recipes and some are creations of my own. Let me know if you have tried any of the recipes and how you like them. I am looking forward to getting your feedback. I have tried all of the recipes on my family and they have been quite successful, but I am always curious to find out what others think. Suggestions to make the recipes better are always welcome.
Tell all of your friends about the new additions to my site and I hope you enjoy the articles and the different sections.

Love those links, Cindy. Extreme cooking, ugh. Nice recipes for the 4th of July as well. This is so cool!! I so appreciate what you are doing with this. It’s a labor of love for you, I would think…

There is nothing better than writing about what your passionate about. I really wanted to put together a vegan based women’s magazine that focuses on all different aspects of being a woman. Just because we are vegan and vegetarians doesn’t mean we like strange clothing, we like fashion too. We like to wear make-up and feel pretty. We just don’t want animals harmed in the process. I want everyone to realize we are “normal,” in that we get up in the morning and care for our families, we shop, we work, we cook (probably more than most people). Being a woman comes in all shapes and sizes, as does being a vegan.
Putting together the magazine and book are my dream. I eventually want to being able to live a complete life congruent with my beliefs. Maybe I am just a dreamer, but I think it is possible.

Wow. That is truly admirable. And the ‘zine is rad (i’m so Californian!) as is the cookbook. Only the beginning! I feel the same way as you about finding work (and DOING IT) congruent to my beliefs and passion… It’s a great start to realizing your dreams, Cindy. I hope people - women! - are aware of what you are doing right now…
